Old Town Kitchen
When the client sought to remodel her basement kitchen she had one request: incorporating the original brick flooring into the new layout. Keeping in mind that light is at a minimum, white Decora cabinets were used to lighten up the space. Storage columns flank the range housing the client’s collection of spices and oils. The new gas range and built in convection microwave allow the client to entertain and cook large meals in the new kitchen. A simple backsplash at the range doesn't detract from the unique quality of the floors and the new island which allows for a multiple cook kitchen. The repainted walls unite the living and kitchen space into a single harmonious space.
